Looking after residents’ safety

The structure of the building is maintained, with planned preventative measures considered to keep the building in good condition.

We adhere to all legislative requirements and compliance, ensuring that everything from smoke and fire alarms to the lifts are well maintained in good working order. We work closely with local fire officers who conduct regular safety inspections.

Health and Safety is paramount, and we maintain regular risk assessments for residents, visitors, staff, and contractors.

Electrical equipment used in the communal areas is tested annually and all fixed wiring in these locations are tested by a qualified engineer every five years.

Heating, water, and ventilation is controlled and regularly checked to ensure efficiency and protected from any bacterial infections, such as legionnaires.

Making communal areas homely

Painting, decoration, and lighting are kept fresh to ensure atmospheric and homely surroundings.

The communal areas are cleaned and kept fresh, with any wear and tear being repaired or replaced as necessary.

Any communal garden areas are well maintained, with grass cut, shrubs pruned, and weeds removed, ensuring residents can enjoy time outdoors in the fresh air.
